MORTADELLA BOLOGNA PGI ZEPPOLE

Ingredients (For 4 serves)

  • Mortadella Bologna PGI, 1/4 cup
  • flour, 2 cups
  • water, ½ cup
  • a pinch of salt
  • yeast, 1 tbs

Slice mortadella in cubes. Mix in a bowl flour, water and yeast.

Knead vigorously.

Cover the bowl. Allow to rise for about 2 hours.

Add mortadella and salt.

Grab a spoonful of mixture and fry it in vegetable oil for about 1.5 mins on each side.

Do as well for each zeppola.
